About the Author

Pat Tilley is a licensed mental health counselor, associate pastor, veteran and author. She is married, has three adult sons, four amazing grandchildren and a rescue dog, Annie. They all live in Florida. Pat has a heart to help others overcome their life challenges as she felt like the underdog in history and had to overcome her own challenges with depression, anxiety, disappointment, worry, fear, and a big boatload of stress. That is only naming some of them. Overcome she did, and miraculously so with the Lord showing up with His mighty intervention and with support from family and friends.

Pat has counseled children and teenagers who have struggled with school, their families and depression, anger, fear and lack of self-confidence. Pat counseled and facilitated groups for adults who battled with a host of life problems in their marriages, family life, and with their disappointments, stress, worry, loneliness and finding their purpose. Pat served in the army and later ended up working for the sheriff department where she was in charge of the veteran’s program. The veterans worked on resiliency, regrets, anxiety and negative thinking.

Pat cares about the things God cares about- that’s people-that’s you and those you know who are having a hard time and trying to figure out how to cope with challenges. Her life scripture is Hebrews 13:5 “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”  That means the Lord will not fail you, will not leave you helpless, will not give up on you, will not let you down and will not relax his hold on you. Whoa, grab onto that great news! And grab onto this book of helps!
